This 8 hour manipulative course includes a refresher on tank construction, valves and fittings, and tank strengths and weaknesses.  Grounding and bonding theory and procedures will be discussed as well as manipulative exercises reinforcing and applying these theories.  Plugging and patching techniques will be discussed including stabilization considerations, access, air monitoring, and transfer procedures.  Each student will participate in “ground school” exercises drilling at least one hole in ground school and one on top of an MC 306/406 tank.  The afternoon will conclude with a review and full scale cumulative exercise.
