Service Description
This 24 hour course provides the prerequisite knowledge and certification of Hazmat Technician for EOD to attend the FBI Hazardous Devices School. This course is certified by California Specialized Training Institute to meet or exceed the requirements of 1910.120(q)(6)(iii). Topics include chemical protective clothing and respiratory protection, decon, and basic chemical toxicological terminology and behavior. A brief introduction to chemical detection monitors and radiation will also be covered. This course includes manipulative operations including "Level A" obstacle course.
